Peter Johansen graduated in Furniture and Spatial Design at The Danish Design School (now the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design) in 2004. As the son of a Norwegian father and a Swedish mother and having lived his entire life in Denmark, Peter Johansen is Scandinavian to the core. His work often involves modelling and 1:1 scaling. His work is inspired by everyday life and his immediate surroundings. Johansen says that his projects are characterized by logic and often contain a flirtation with the trivial.
