The Swedish designer Pontus Ny studied at HDK, the School of Applied Art
and Design. His interest in design started as a child in his grandfather’s
pottery studio. Today he has his own studio and has designed everything
from cutlery to transport. According to Ny, design is about creating a way for
the user to have a new or improved experience of their surroundings.
