Founders of the Italian fashion house Missoni, Ottavio and Rosita Missoni met in 1948 while Ottavio was competing in the 400m hurdles in the London Olympics. Although he came 6th, the Missonis nonetheless went on to establish a highly successful fashion house and textile company renowned for its advanced weaving techniques.
