The Finnish visual artist
Miina Ãâkkijyrkkä (born in 1949) is famous for her cow-themed drawings,
paintings and sculptures. The Helsinki-based artist was educated at the Dairy Farming School of North-Savo and at the
Equine College of Ypäjä. Her steadfast commitment to Finnish cattle at once
evinces her sincerity, validates her work and frequently, spins a web of
controversy around her.
