Katsuji Wakisaka is a Japanese textile designer who trained at the Kyoto School of Art & Design. In the early seventies he started his career as the first Japanese designer to work for Marimekko and created the colourful children’s Bo Boo print among many others. Upon returning to Japan in the 1980s Wakisaka launched his own apparel brand SOUSOU.
