Markus Jehs (b.1965 Stuttgart) and Jurgen Laub (b.1964 Ulm) met during their academic studies in industrial design at the Hochschule Fur Gestaltung Schwabisch Gmuend and became friends after an internship in New York in 1990. After they graduated in 1992 they set up Jehs + Laub in 1994. Since then they have designed products for companies including Cassina, Ycami, Nemo Cassina, Fritz Hansen, Knoll International, Renz, Stelton, Davis, Schonbuch, Cor and Wilkhahn.
