Brothers, Fernando (b. 1961) and
Humberto (b. 1953) are Brazilian designers, who have been working together
since 1983.  Based in Sao Paulo, they
work in partnership with communities, factories and industry to create new approaches
to furniture and its manufacture.  In
1997, their work appeared in the International Design Year Book, and in 1998
MoMA (New York) dedicated the “Progetto 66” exhibition to them.  They have produced furniture, sculptures,
interiors and landscapes.
