Dan Black and Martin Blum established Black&Blum in 1998.  The
design duo, both studied Design for Industry at the University of
Northumbria.  Black then wen onto work for IDEO (London), Frog Design
(California) and Studio Brown (Bath).  While Blum, a Swiss born designer
had previously undertaken an apprenticeship with a product design company.
Together, they founded the studio in London, and have developed their own range
of products.  Their designs have won numerous awards and are sold
globally.
