Alexandra Anson is a Melbourne (Australia)
based jewellery and accessory designer and creative director of the fashion
focused jewellery label Alexandra Blak. 
She studied Interior Design, but frustrated with the field, she
established a clothing store calle Page One. After seven years her interests
evolved into accessories.  Alexandra Blak jewellery pieces are handcrafted in lucite, silver, leather, rope and stone.  She crafts  minimal forms, with contemporary materials and techniques.  All the material she uses are Australian made.  The silver is from Western Australia.  The leather is Kangaroo, and the rope is especially woven for her.  When she uses Lucite it starts off in a block that Alexandra drills and shapes.
