- Remember that old 'Up, up and away' TAA commercial? They ripped that jingle from a song about a hot air balloon.
But Christian Hall didn't rip off a balloon to make this aircraft brooch. Instead he looked at a plane and said - yep, that's a plane!
Hand made from laser cut blanks in the JamFactory Metal Design Studio, the aircraft brooch employs miniaturized industrial techniques in its manufacture, such as having its pin welded on under a microscope. Fashioned from stainless steel before being powder-coated.
Measures 7.5cm (wingspan) x 1.4cm (height).
