Make's Gift Registry  service is the easy way to set up and manage your own gift list. Be it a wedding, anniversary, birthday or any other special event you can choose the items you want and add or remove items right up to the date of the event.

A Make Gift Registry also makes choosing and purchasing a gift much simpler for your  friends and family. Every item has a picture and description. Your guests can buy securely online, by phone or at our Carlton store. For those without internet access we can post a hardcopy of your selections including pictures of every item. Should your guests wish to see your choices in the flesh our Carlton store is open Monday to Saturday throughout the year  and Sundays in December (full details at the bottom of this page).


Pricing

All Make products are sold at recommended retail prices however if the period during which your registry is 'live' coincides with a Make sale your guests will have the opportunity to purchase their gift at a reduced rate.


Charges

There are none.

Your guests won't even be charged a shipping and handling fee. Or a gift wrapping fee.

We're always bemused by registry services that try to have it both ways on this one. Some charge couples to set up a wedding registry. Some slug their guests for gift wrapping, shipping and handling (even though most of the gifts are to be delivered to the same address at the same time). Some do both.

We do neither.

There are no charges.

None.

Registry cards

Make will provide you with as many personalised cards as you need to insert with your invitations. Each card includes your name(s) and your Guest Log In ID to grant your guests access to your registry.


Setting up your registry

Click 'Create a Registry' on the menu at left to get started. When you've filled in all your details you will be emailed your Log In details. To set up your Make Gift Registry click 'Log In' in the email or on the Registry menu at left.

You can personalise your registry page with a written message to your guests. You can also upload a photo of yourself, you and your fiance or perhaps a small but happy puppy. Whatever floats your boat.


Managing your registry online

Perhaps you've changed your mind or would like to add or remove something. Perhaps your guests have bought all your selections and are screaming out for more. You can log in and edit your list at any time. Your host page will show all your current selections whether they've been purchased or not. If you'd like to see what's still 'live' and hasn't been purchased simply log in as a guest. Guests can only see the items remaining on your list.

To edit an existing Make Gift Registry click the red 'GIFT REGISTRY' button on the menu at left.


After your wedding or event

The day of your wedding or big event isn't usually the best time to be waiting around for a delivery. We'll arrange a time with you to receive your gifts that best suits you (usually after a honeymoon for weddings).


What about the gifts that aren't bought?

You may purchase any leftover gifts. If the combined total of purchases from your list (your guests' purchases and your purchases) is over $3000 we'll give you a 15% discount on your purchases.
